We Have a Jury
We picked a jury today in the Armed Robbery trial. It has been an interesting experience. We even had a Batson challenge to the DA's strikes (sorry non-lawyers). She used 7 of 7 strikes against whites.
Anyway, we have 14 jurors seated now. We will open on Wed. and probably close Friday. I'll be crossing two witnesses and a cop, and I will do closing arguments.

I am dying to be on a jury. No one ever lets me get one of those magical postcards summonsing me to that magical place called "jury duty".
You're not missing anything. It's so boring compared to Boston Legal or Ally McBeal.... except for the short skirts. That part is accurate. We all wear short Ally McBeal skirts.
